Moose & Moran

As the Jackson Hole valley stretches north into Grand Teton National Park, there are a handful of privately owned pockets of land among the 310,000 acres of national park and millions of acres of Bridger-Teton National Forest. Two small unincorporated towns lie at the gateway to Grand Teton National Park: Moose, Wyoming, at the southern entrance, and Moran, Wyoming, at the northern entrance. Between Moose and Moran, Wyoming, are pockets of privately owned land known as “inholding properties” because they are surrounded by protected public lands. Property owners in these areas enjoy rural lifestyles with the distance from amenities of town and schools up to 40 miles away. The seclusion, astonishing beauty, and proximity to endless outdoor recreational pursuits make these properties especially unique. Some of the neighborhoods or “inholdings” include properties along Antelope Flats Loop Road, Shadow Mountain, Craighead Lane, Lost Creek Ranch, Pacific Creek, Buffalo Valley, and Turpin Meadows.
